Co-operative Bank

We were approached to design a credit society bank with a very minimal brief, giving us freedom to explore the possibilities in architecture. As a service oriented building, we provided a clear distinction between served and service area. Clarity and simplicity in planning were given topmost priority. The building has fenestrations on east and west side which lit the interiors. To attain a comfortable level of natural lighting within the building, a glass facade was provided at north side, also the front facade. The facade had a 360 degree rotating steel plate as a design element. The building form leaps out from the surrounding.
