The Wing house is a unique residential structure built from the concept of an equilateral triangle with one side oriented along East – West taking into consideration of the climatic inflluence. Incorporating the client's proviso , we sought to retain the Rambutan tree which acted as a pivotal factor for the design of interior spaces. Jali walls made of bricks placed at an angle acts like a breathing thermal barrier along the sun-facing side, whereas the internal workspaces are protected by the carefully positioned staircase in the house. The light wells and the wall cut-outs breathe light and air into the design interiors, also enhancing the spatial quality of the structure. The Wings put forwards a geometric look with pitched roof abode with trapezoid windows.
